UCP of East Central Florida/WORC remains at the forefront of service delivery for individuals with disabilities and offers a continuum of care, which enriches the lives of those we serve throughout their lifespan. It is through our comprehensive array of home and community-based services which empower our participants to live a "Life without Limits" with increased independence, personal choice and community-based alternatives. Community Partnership for Children is an organization called upon to help children who have been abused or neglected, by finding them short-term housing, assessing their individual situation, assigning them a Case Manager, creating a Case Plan, and transitioning them into safe, long-term care -- whether it be with their immediate family, loving relatives, a guardian, licensed foster care, or an independent living facility. Because every child deserves a loving home, Community Partnership for Children coordinates preventative and early intervention services that enable children to remain with their families. When a child must be removed from the family, we strive to maintain them in the least restrictive environment available, usually with a relative or in a foster home, until the child can be reunited with their family. Community Partnership for Children promotes sibling unification which enables brothers and sisters to share their lives together while in foster care. Community Partnership for Children is committed to ensuring a full spectrum of networked programs is available to children and families to enable them to receive individualized services for their unique situation. To accomplish this, we work with public and private agencies, the courts, policymakers, and community members to develop and maintain resources that will support children and families. Through the efforts and involvement of the community, we are able to keep children safe and build strong families.
